Mixed Berry Crumble

Ingredients:

For the fruit base:

  • 2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

For the crumble topping:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter (cubed)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the berries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Mix gently.
  3. Pour the fruit mix into a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Add cold butter and use your fingers to rub it into the dry mix until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the berries evenly.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm — optionally with vanilla ice cream or Greek yogurt.
